Racing for Orphans with Down Syndrome – A CNF grant was awarded to fund 491 Down Syndrome children.
Kyampisi Childcare Ministries – A CNF grant was awarded to fund 19 survivors of human sacrifice.
Hand In Hand International Adoptions – A CNF grant was awarded to provide adoption escorts for 10 children.
Solutions – A Haitian based digitizing company. CNF is working with Solutions to digitize over ten thousand children’s adoption files for Haitian orphanages.
Respire – A campus of 500 former restavek children (House slaves), Respire received a 50K grant from CNF for educational and other campus needs.
Goya Foods/Goya Cares – Initiative working with CNF to connect orphanages in Mexico and the Dominican Republic with adoption agencies.
Founder of Children Need Families – Katherine is passionate about adoption. The adoptive mother of two from Haiti and seven biological children, Katherine desires all children to have the stability of a loving family-whether that is through a kinship placement, domestic or international adoption. Katherine and the CNF team work together to fulfill the mission of CNF and prevent further exploitation of children and youth through adoption efforts. Katherine often speaks on behalf of CNF and presents individuals and families with their grant award.
Executive Assistant to the Director – Michael works with adoption agencies, the application process and assists in the consultation of grant award decisions. He works as the front deskman for childrenneedfamilies@ourrescue.org answering questions, introducing CNF to new adoption agencies and updating CNF’s files and statistics. Growing up on the Mexico/U.S border, Michael was familiar with children lacking a proper family environment and was inspired by the charitable actions of his father to help however he could. Michael had lent his skills and compassion to the efforts of CNF to prevent exploitation through adoption. Languages: English, Spanish.
Research and Development/Story Consultant – Camille assists CNF families in the collection, development and sharing of their adoption story. She takes great care in creating a sensitive and truthful narrative, reflecting the voice of the author of each story–the adoptive parent(s). She and her husband are currently in the early stages of adoption. She enjoys learning from other families and working with them, as she and her family move through the adoption process. Languages: English, American Sign Language.
Daniela Alvarez – MPA, Ed.D candidate, Director of Special Education at FPA, Advocate for children with special needs. Mother of 3, including a teenage son with Down Syndrome. Languages: Romanian, English, French, Hungarian.
Tiffany Hansen – Business owner, Entrepreneur, Adoptive mother of 4 (still waiting for these little ones to come home) and biological parent of 7. Learning Haitian Creole.
Brooke Nield – Advocate for adoption. Grew up with four adopted siblings, (both domestic and international) Mother of 3 boys, adoptive mom of 2 (still waiting for her little guys to come home). Humanitarian mission service in Honduras, Ecuador. Languages: English, Spanish, Learning Haitian Creole.
